Pope John Paul II Has Died and Coming Prophecy
2005 04 02

By Mitch Battros | ECTV

I take this moment with my fellow Catholics all around the world, and with all those who wish to send their blessings to a man who I believe fought admirably to maintain tradition and principle even in the face of harsh judgment and politics both inside and outside the Vatican. May Pope John Paul II find tranquility in his journey to a place he has always belonged.

Now is a time to be at peace with the moment and also to contemplate future events. Many believe the Pope’s death is a prophetic sign of events to come. Some believe an uncomfortable shift in world tension will increase, others believe it is the precursor to cosmic or earth changing events.

Although I embrace ancient text and prophecy, I also believe in our collective power to influence current events. I also believe prophecy is to help prepare us for events to come; maybe not so much as to stop events, although this may be possible, but to best absorb or to “facilitate” events as they unfold.

But let me re-affirm ECTV’s position on breaking news events. It is not our intention to shock or scare anyone, our focus is on “awareness and preparedness”. It is our oath to never publish erroneous, channeled, or unharnessed conjecture. Published breaking news events will come only from reliable credible sources. On the occasion of conjecture (opinion), we will state clearly the article is based on such and absent factual backed data.

For example; ECTV will never post an article that says “Jane Smith has just predicted that an asteroid will crash into Earth on April 12th.” What we will post is something like this: “John Smith of the New Mexico Amateur Astronomy Society has just released information suggesting NEA asteroid “JS2005” has just been spotted and confirmed by five other amateur astronomers in New Zealand and South Africa. This news release states asteroid “JS2005” came from a less monitored sector of our solar system and was not detected until now. It appears “JS2005” may have shifted its trajectory and could cause a dangerous flyby next month”. Remember…this is just an example!

A more current and “real” scenario was released earlier today and published in ‘The Australian News’: “Scientists warn that a Sumatran super-volcano might blow its top at any time. If it does, the blast will toss hundreds of thousands of cubic kilometers of rock and ash into the atmosphere, dwarfing the eruptions of Krakatoa, Mount St Helens, Pinatubo and any conventional volcanic explosion of the past tens of thousands of years. The likelihood that the Toba – the largest super-volcano on Earth – will erupt has increased significantly due to geological stresses generated by the recent quakes. Worse, Toba sits directly atop the faultline running down the spine of Sumatra. That is where seismologists say a third quake might strike.

So stayed tuned folks. You will find no other news service better prepared to provide you with the most cutting edge first hand news in the world as it relates to ‘earth science’ and ‘space weather’.
