The sun represents your will or life force. It is the conscious, extroverted, positive, male side of yourself. In Aquarius, the sun is original, independent, progressive, pioneering, intellectual, compassionate, eccentric. On the shadow side, it is dogmatic, stubborn, rigid, remote, detached, isolated. While the sun is in Aquarius, do your own thing. Make a commitment to your own vision and remember you are a sovereign being. It may push you out to the road less traveled but that is where you will thrive and be surprised at what you can do.

Jupiter is the planet of expansion and faith. It represents what brings confidence, hope, optimism and good luck. By activating the qualities that Jupiter represents by sign and house, we can tap into great gifts, abilities and abundance. Jupiter represents what we believe in and is what gives us a sense of bouyancy and good spirits. Jupiter likes a laugh and may tell us something about our sense of humor. When Jupiter is in Aries, the image is the door of opportunity being flung open. Another image is someone grabbing at a potential, whether a potential for growth, money, or greater room. There can also be a pushy superiority when this energy is operating from ego -- or a tendency to try to force opportunities to manifest when their time isn't ripe. Jupiter in Aries says, "swing wide the doors of opportunity -- if there isn't an opportunity opening soon enough, kick open the door". Aries is an aggressive, driving sign -- its main image is the battering ram. If there is no opportunity, Jupiter in Aries will make an opportunity.

Saturn represents limits: the limit of our vision, the limit of our body (the skin), and the limits of personal action (the law). Saturn is the structure and the form behind the way things are. It is the Lord of this World, the Lord of Karma and Time, the keeper of records, and our father and teacher. Saturn shows where you are being tested. Its house position in your chart indicates lessons necessary for fulfilling obligations and responsibilities so personal growth can occur. It is where you must build in self-discipline to work and work hard. Saturn retrograde period will assist you in completing anything that is left undone, unattended to, partially completed or not completed at all. It does not pressure you to do these things, but gives you time to do them. Saturn retrograde assists with pushing you beyond your limitations by showing you that you are capable of doing far more than you thought you could. It also can take those blind folds off that you keep on your eyes. Saturn gives you the ability to see more deeply into people, situations and things around you. It brings more wisdom to you; but remember that this wisdom is usually gained from hard work and hands on experiences. The important events or things that Saturn in retrograde brings to us include a need to become more aware of our own authority, power and place in this world. Do you allow society to over power and limit you? This is the time to find and be your own authority, not a slave. Recognize your ceiling, understand it and break on through never to repeat the mistake again. The ultimate goal is to not put ourselves in situations where we will be trapped and limited.
