M-Class & X-Class Flare Brings in the New Year
2005 01 01

By Mitch Battros - ECTV

Once again to the surprise of those in the space weather field, an X2-Class flare has fired off from sunspot region 715. Watch for aurora activity beginning tomorrow night and January 2nd. The sunspot count has doubled to count of 60.

Equation:

Sunspots => Solar Flares => Magnetic Field Shift => Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents => Extreme Weather and Human Disruption (mitch battros)

Have a great and safe New Year!!!!!!

Four M-Class Flares Within Last 24 Hours
2004 12 31

by Mitch Battros – ECTV

Four M-Class Flares have been recorded within the last 24 hours. This is not good news for our weather forecast. I expect to see an increase in extreme weather events such as that in California. “Freak” tornadoes have been reported as well as unexpected snow storms and heavy rains.

Equation:

Sunspots => Solar Flares => Magnetic Field Shift => Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents => Extreme Weather and Human Disruption (mitch battros)

Last night the Associated Press filed this report: “A slow-rolling series of storms that battered the West this week brought snowfall and high wind Thursday to parts of California, where weather-weary residents have already endured lashing rain, heavy snowfall and a destructive tornado.” Full Article

Sunspot region 715 is slowly rotating westward and will be in position to produce Earth directed CME’s within the next few days. I expect increased aurora activity beginning tonight and lasting for two to three days depending on continued solar activity. This does not bear well for Asia as well as North America. Watch for ongoing “records” to be reported such as the “first ever” snow fall in UAE (United Arab Emirates) reported late last night. Full Article

A Time of Prayer; Demonstrating World Community

I would like to suggest a time set aside to demonstrate the power of a collective world consciousness which I believe can make a difference. Not only for those who suffered personal loss, but for each of us as well. I believe when a collective gathering with a singleness of focus occurs, a healing ensues. Again, not just for those who were at ground zero, but for each of us who have been affected personally in viewing what has occurred to our brothers and sisters, and acknowledging the power of nature itself. I affirm that it is not for us to ‘fear’ nature, but to embrace its power.

My suggestion is to take a moment tonight (Friday December 31st) at exactly 11:00 PM (all time zones), to reflect on those who have been directly and in-directly affected by the Indian Ocean Tsunami. I specifically state “all time zones”. This is meant to say take this moment at exactly 11:00 PM in the time zone you reside. In this way a series of “waves” will come across the planet. Yes, very much like the waves of a tsunami, such shall be the waves of compassion and prayer.
