Second M-Class Flare and Sun Riddled With Spots
2004 10 23

by Mitch Battros – ECTV

I can’t say I have a snappy ready to through out explanation for recent solar events. And yes, it does appear to be rather ironic when considering NASA’s recent release telling us of a current and coming ‘solar minimum’.

Today’s sunspot count has jumped up to 134. This is just a count of 15 below the predicted solar “maximum”. Take a look at the number of sunspot regions HERE. As you can see, there are no less than six regions. I would suggest far from last weeks “zero”.

So what does all this mean? 1) We are not in a typical eleven year solar cycle. 2) NASA’s prediction of Cycle 23 is wrong. 3) Strong evidence we are in a “mega cycle”.

Watch for extreme weather to occur today which is the result of October 20th M-Class flare. And now, watch for continued extreme weather to begin (or continue) on October 24th. Also watch for a beautiful aurora display to light up the northern area of North America, perhaps as far down as Minnesota.

Equation:

Sunspots => Solar Flares => Magnetic Field Shift => Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents => Extreme Weather and Human Disruption (mitch battros)

Perhaps a coincidence, but a 6.9 magnitude earthquake has hit the West Coast of Honshu, Japan early this morning. No reports of deaths or injuries at this time. Several large aftershocks have occurred since first event.
