CME To Hit Earth’s Magnetic Field Tomorrow
2004 09 13

by Mitch Battros - ECTV

A Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) was launched as a result of the M-Class flare from sunspot region 672. As per the equation, it will hit the Earth’s magnetic field sometime tomorrow. It is at this time, I expect the Kp index to shoot up to 6 or 7. There is a usual 48 to 72 hour ‘cause effect’ time-linked means from solar event to its effects on our magnetic field.

Equation:
Sunspots => Solar Flares => Magnetic Field Shift => Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents => Extreme Weather and Human Disruption (mitch battros)

We will know by tomorrow afternoon or evening, what effect if any, this event will have on hurricane “Ivan”. Although this CME is a glancing blow (see photo), the possibility remains high hurricane Ivan will remain a category 5 by tomorrow night.
