Our Restless World: Something is Changing
2004 11 03

The worst weather in recorded history lashes Asia month after month. Bizarre storms strike in Australia and New Zealand. Japan is hit by an unprecedented wave of earthquakes. 80% of Venice is under water.

Earthquakes five plus on the Richter Scale seem to strike in increasing numbers. World volcanoes are becoming more and more active.

And as if that wasn't enough, the New Scientist reports that antibiotic-resistant superbugs are appearing more and more often outside of hospitals. In one hospital in Texas, where this has always been a problem, incidents of children appearing withflesh-eating bacteria infections exploded from 9 in 1999 to 459 in 2003.

To top it all off, we are involved in one of the most intense periods of UFO activity ever recorded, with phenomenal stories like the reports from the Himalayas pouring in from all parts of the planet, including a developing story of a possible UFO crash in the UK on October 13, which will be featured on Unknowncountry.com as soon as our UK reporter turns it in.

What all of this adds up to is that there are now so many areas where rapid and unsettled change is taking place, that it seems inevitable that something unexpected is going to explode into the headlines soon, whether it is an unprecedented natural event, or something even more surprising.

One of the purposes of this newsletter is to give you a 'heads up' about coming changes. As Unknowncountry is one of only a handful of news sources in the world that takes this kind of broad, big-picture perspective, we're in a good position to notice when widespread change seems in the offing.

Right now is such a time.
