German anti-open borders party reaches top 3

In August, The Alternative for Germany (AFD) party had support from just 3% of voters, while the current ruling government, an alliance between the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and Christian Social Union (CSU), had 43% of voter support.
Today, the AFD has gained 10.5% of voter support, and support for the current government has dropped to 35%.
This means that if an election were to be held now, AFD would be the third biggest party, even overtaking the Left and the Greens; the main opposition parties.
Hermann Binkert, the head of INSA, the polling agency that conducted the poll, said that AFD’s massive rise in support is because they offer a more “authentic position in terms of refugees and migration.”
“Voters who don’t agree with CDU go to the AfD because all the other parties stand for Germany’s welcoming policy toward refugees,”
“If the refugee issue were to be solved, then the central reason why people are saying they’d vote for them would also disappear.”
Everywhere there’s open borders, there’s a growing opposition to it. Like in Sweden, where the Sweden Democrats are the most popular party among voters, but have been ganged-up on by all the pro-open border parties.
To the younger generations who were born during times of mass immigration, all we know is mass immigration into our countries. To the older generations, they remember that it was not always like this.
At some point in history, around about the 1960s, the borders to White countries were opened up to mass immigration for the first time ever.
Why was it that after thousands of years of not just surviving, but also thriving, we must now change the very nature of our societies and become “multicultural” and “diverse”?
